Light is white. Colors are born in perception.
The first time, the surprise can be immense: your eyes are closed, yet colors appear. Dream Machine emits only a pulsed white light. The colors you perceive are produced by your own visual system. No images are projected.
Grids, spirals, tunnels: recurring shapes studied by researchers.
These shapes and colors appear in response to pulsed light. It is a known phenomenon that has been studied in healthy individuals. We refer to them as visual hallucinations because one sees shapes that are not actually present before them.
These paintings are fixed. The perceptions they evoke are transforming.
A spiral turns. A structure transforms. A form appears, then escapes from view. The visions evolve during the session. Their appearance and movement can change with the frequency, that is to say, the speed of the light pulses.
Depth and colors: an immersive experience that may come as a surprise.
There can be depth, movement, the sensation of being surrounded by colors. Attention becomes absorbed: one may have the impression of entering the image. Some nuances are so astonishing that it becomes difficult to find the words to describe them.
Perceptions vary from person to person and from session to session.
These visions are fleeting and linked to the pulsed light. When the stimulation stops, they fade away. You may interrupt the session at any time. The experience can be intense or more subtle: everyone perceives their own shapes and colors.
